Booking, confirmation & Payment

Plan-it Morocco (PIM) requires a completed booking form to be returned to them with payment to secure a booking.

PIM requires a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total activity price due at the time of booking confirmation. The remainder 70% is due four weeks before the date itinerary. If the reservation is made within two weeks of the activity date, PIM requires the full price to be paid at the time of booking.

PIM will send a written confirmation by email securing your booking along with a proforma invoice.

Alterations by you

Once a booking is confirmed, requested changes to the booking may be possible. However, any cancellation fees or added costs will be incurred by you, the client.

Requested changes to accommodation (i.e., upgrades) once the itinerary has been confirmed may result in additional charges that will be incurred by the client.

All suggested times for departures, arrivals and activities as per the itinerary provided are guidelines only. Any actions that are taken by the client resulting in alterations to the outlined schedule Plan-it Morocco takes no responsibility for, including late departures and additional activities that are taken under the client’s volition.

If after the start of the tour the client or agent changes the departure day or any transportation, accommodations, tours, tour participants for his or her convenience, PIM is not required to reimburse the client or agent and the client or agent will be responsible for any additional charges related to the changes.

Cancellation by Client

Cancellation instructions must be made in writing via email and will be effective on the day Plan-it Morocco receives them. PIM will notify you on receipt of an email.The following charges apply, dependent on the amount of time before the planned activity date:

  • Within 6 weeks: 50% of total cost of tour
  • Within 4 weeks: 100% of total cost of tour
  • In the case of a ‘no show’, the client will be charged the full amount of the activity.

On rare occasions when there are extenuating circumstances in which the client needs to cancel a confirmed reservation, PIM may override the refund policy at their sole discretion. In the case of a cancellation by the client, PIM will supply invoices for the client’s travel insurance requests. In the event of clients who are late to their booked activity exceeding 30 minutes without prior notification to Plan-it Morocco, the client’s booking will be considered a ‘no show’ and the client will be charged the full amount of the activity.

PIM cannot give any refund for included meals, transport, or any other pre-paid services if cancelled or not used.

Cancellation by Plan-it Morocco

Once your booking is confirmed with Plan-it Morocco, we will make every effort to provide you with the booked tour arrangements, but reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the tour. Reasons for doing so may include severe local weather conditions, natural disasters, terrorist activity, fire and similar conditions. In these instances, PIM will make every effort to make alternative plans or refund monies paid or part thereof.

Accommodation Policy

Upon request, Plan-it Morocco will handle accommodation reservation. Should cancellation or alterations occur from the client, Plan-it Morocco takes no responsibility for these changes where the individual accommodation provider’s policy may be applicable. PIM will endeavour to work with the provider on any fees that may be applicable.

PIM cannot be held responsible for any reservations made directly between the client and the accommodation provider.

Restaurant Policy

For cancellations/significant alterations to booking numbers made within 48 hours of the booking, the entire amount of the meal (excluding service and beverages) will be charged.


Plan-it Morocco accepts no liability for the loss or damage of baggage while on tour or delay in baggage arrival from airlines. Normal baggage restrictions apply and should clients be travelling with excess baggage Plan-it Morocco requires prior notice, additional charges may be applicable with alterations to transport arrangements.


Plan-it Morocco is committed to protecting the privacy of your clients at all times, in all possible situations. Although all reasonable measures are taken to secure your information, we, Plan-it Morocco do not and cannot guarantee complete security for stored information. Though PIM makes every effort to preserve client privacy, PIM may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein PIM have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process.


From time to time Plan-it Morocco may send out email messages to inform you of various events and matters that relate to the promotion of PIM’s business. Also, you may receive communication from them 1) if you contact them for a particular reason or 2) if PIM needs to communicate with you for administration purposes. If you choose to subscribe to newsletters, you will at various times receive email communications from Plan-it Morocco.

Guide Policy

For Plan-it Morocco’s traditional medina tours PIM is obliged under the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism regulations to use officially licensed medina tour guides, overseen by the National Association of Tour Guides. While PIM has a set criteria for the tour PIM are not able to fully control the content so therefore will not be held liable should the guide not fulfil his obligation. PIM strongly recommends that you discuss with your guide on the day if you have special interests or do not want to shop.

Drivers, tour conductors, or guides who are not part of the Plan-it Morocco team shall not accompany clients on individualised tours run by Plan-it Morocco. When the clients are in PIM’s care PIM will provide licensed, professional guides and there will be a handover at the designated start and end of the tour.
